Weststar’s Training Program
Weststar is very happy to bring you aboard and start you in a very detailed and quality driven training program that is one of the best in our industry. We get you on the road fast by starting you out with one of our trainers that will show you what Weststar and our customers expect on their locations and on the road. You will start out with our orientation that is approximately 2 days long. You will be introduced to our customer safety requirements and Weststar’s safety programs and processes.
Then you will be put with a Weststar trainer that will put you through extensive road training that will show you Weststar’s safety policies and how to get to the customer locations safely and efficiently. Upon getting signed off by your trainer you will be issued your own truck. You will be on your way to helping us deliver on time which directly creates customer satisfaction.
One of the safety programs you will be trained with is our BBSM observation program. Weststar’s safety program helps you take ownership or your learning experience, and this helps you shape your own work environment by observing and reporting in an actual work environment. We have safety meetings, where we provide dinner, every 2 weeks. You will be able to have the opportunity to share your experiences and help make your work environment safer for you and your fellow co-workers
